UK-based baby and toddler brand MORI has announced the appointment of a new commercial chief as part of its plans to target growth in the US market.
The company has named the new chief, who has experience in senior commercial roles at British retailers Crew Clothing, Frugi, White Stuff, and Joules.
The appointment is expected to drive the company’s wholesale growth, build relationships with existing retail partners, acquire new retail partners, and expand sales channels, including online marketplaces.
MORI aims to see its US market contribute to over 50% of its revenue within the year and has remained profitable since 2020.
The company also recently received a £2.5 million investment from existing investors, which will be used for brand awareness, product development, and more.
