Ben De Lisi debuts on QVC in UK
American designer Ben De Lisi has long been a popular name in the UK via his work with retailers such as DebenhamsQVC
It launches on Wednesday (5 October) and “embodies the designer’s playful flair, with a story of geo prints, abstract florals, and the occasional artsy stripe across a range of vibrant pieces for the modern woman,” we’re told.
It joins other designer labels on the site including Finery London and Badgley Mischka
Prices range from £27 up to £66.
Ben De Lisi began his career in 1982 before debuting his first womenswear collection at London Fashion Week in 1994, and won several titles at the forerunner of the Fashion Awards in the 1990s.
The label he established was a celebrity favourite, most notably dressing Kate Winslet in a red dress for the 2002 Academy Awards.
The QVC offer is a capsule wardrobe that “blends contemporary design with classic style” and includes “vivacious dresses to statement separates, all featuring Ben’s distinctive look”.
He said of the line: “My clothes are meant to bring both style and charm with a sense of humour to those who wear them. I always say that my biggest joy and payback is seeing the women that wear my clothes stand taller, smile broader and generally have that look of effortless style, and my collection with QVC aims to do just that.”
