Timberland reunites with Crookes for ‘My Community, our Nature’ UK campaign
Global lifestyle brand Timberland
The collaboration sees Timberland support Crookes’ mission “to make a real change for young people with creative aspirations” in her local community at InSpire Youth Club at St Peter’s Church
Central to the community campaign are ‘Nature and Music’ which are “deeply rooted in Timberland’s heritage and are known to boost creativity and wellbeing”.
The retailer said: “By shining a light on the benefits these two things can bring, the young people of InSpire are given the valuable tools they need to build forward for a better future and thrive in their community”.
The programme includes a series of music and creative workshops to give young people skills and accessibility into the music industry, while an ‘Urban Greening’ project aims to rejuvenate the green space outside St Peter’s Church “that will provide sanctuary and promote wellbeing”. It also includes regular field trips outside of London “to explore and spend more time in nature”.
To document the journey, Timberland has produced a social content series that narrates the journey of the project.
Giorgio d’Aprile, SR Marketing Director for EMEA Timberland, said: “‘My Community, our Nature’ aims to engage with the young generation with the support they need to build forward. Joy has dug deep into this project to help identify practical solutions that will help her community of InSpire thrive.
“We are committed to supporting Joy and the next generation of young people, to help their creativity and wellbeing grow. We encourage everyone to step outside, work together and move the world forward.”
