Justin and Hailey Bieber were clearly still in the Coachella mood in West Hollywood yesterday. The couple, who attended last weekend, might’ve been over 100 miles from where the second installment of the event was taking place, but that didn’t stop them from wearing outfits that tapped into the free-spirited style the California music festival has become known for.
Model and beauty brand founder Hailey sported jeans, a cropped cami top and biker boots in the Coachella Valley last Saturday, but the ivory lace-trim sheer slip dress and trainers that she wore for an afternoon in LA yesterday was far more festival-appropriate. The same could be said about Justin’s look: The singer wore a vintage tie-dye tee, baggy jeans, and a cap for the stroll with his wife.
Hailey Bieber’s sheer slip is reminiscent of the slinky styles worn by supermodels and actors in the ’90s—specifically, those championed by slip dress fanatic, Kate Moss. The lace detailing on the bodice and hemline, in particular, echoes the playful lingerie-inspired styles that were popular during the era, which now are very popular on resale sites like Vinted and Depop.
To amp up the retro appeal, she wore chunky Nike Air Max 95 trainers with socks, gold jewelry, and slimline sunglasses, finishing the outfit with a black bag tucked under her arm—a spring look that’s easy to copy.
