Teen Vogue celebrated the next generation of style stars at its Generation Next cocktail party on Wednesday. Generation Next, Teen Vogue’s four-year-old incubator program, supports up-and-coming designers through ongoing mentorship that provides resources and networking opportunities to bring their work to life.
For the first time ever, Generation Next named six Innovators, who each got a special grant
from Motorola Razr to help further their fashion ambitions. The brand also tapped Jodie Turner-Smith and Joshua Jackson to share advice and inspiration with the six winners through its #TheCallThatStartedItAll campaign.
The buzz-worthy guest list included Teen Vogue editor in chief Versha Sharma; actors Minnie Mills, Shay Rudolph, and Bailey Bass; Generation Next alums, including Elena Velez; and the six members of the Generation Next class of ’22: Gianna Curcio, Justine Gallo, Taylor Paige Garvin, Juliana Heredia, Adela Ramirez, and Qianru Zhang. The winners’ sketches were displayed on screens throughout the event—hosted at the Moxy Hotel in Manhattan—which also featured custom cocktails, photo ops, and 360-degree views of New York City.
“We are so excited to be able to support six more young designers thanks to Motorola Razr, and to celebrate with an event during Fashion Month,” said Sharma.
