One evening after seemingly skipping out on Kris Jenner’s 67th birthday dinner, Kendall Jenner showed up to a different party in one of her most risqué looks yet.
On November 5, Kendall arrived at the LACMA Art + Film Gala at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art wearing a sultry ensemble by Paris fashion brand Burc Akyol. The model paired a sheer, long-sleeve bodysuit with a dangerously low-rise silver skirt that moved like liquid metal. In fact, the skirt was draped so low on Kendall’s hips that the hem of the bodysuit was visible. Clearly, the low-rise trend is still reaching new heights…or should we say lows?
To counteract the bold ensemble, Kendall kept the rest of her look minimal with simple jewelry and open-toe black pumps. She wore her hair down and opted for a subtle smoky eye and mauve lip.
Kendall wasn’t the only Kardashian-Jenner to attend the LACMA Art + Film Gala. A couple of weeks after Balenciaga cut ties with Kim Kardashian’s ex-husband Kanye West, the reality star showed up to the star-studded event wearing a head-to-toe black gown and glove ensemble by the luxury fashion house.
Of course, Kendall Jenner has never been afraid of the see-through aesthetic. In September, the model reflected on her “first high-fashion show” experience back in 2014. At 18 years old, Kendall walked the runway in a sheer brown Marc Jacobs V-neck sweater and completely bleached brows. “I actually could not believe I was there,” she said in Vogue’s “Life in Looks” video. “I was pretty chill, even though my boobies were out.”
She continued, “I remember getting a call from my agent saying that Marc and Katie [Grand] wanted to put me in this kind of sheer top, and I was like, ‘I’m game. I don’t mind. I’m all good with the nipple.’ It didn’t make me any more nervous. I genuinely was just like, ‘Dope, whatever they want, it’s their vision, let’s do it.’ So I was completely comfortable.”
