Hailey Bieber and Justin Bieber clearly have very different approaches to date night style.
The couple was spotted out on the town in New York City on July 19, and while Hailey Bieber kept her lunch-date look low-key, she dressed up for dinner in a little white minidress. Her husband, Justin, meanwhile, was almost painfully casual on both outings.
Hailey’s daytime ’fit included all her go-tos: baggy jorts, cropped white T-shirt, and loafers with white crew socks. She added a pair of skinny shades, a black slouchy leather shoulder bag, and a pair of gold hoops, thus completing her summer uniform. But while Hailey was stylishly low-effort, Justin’s lavender cotton basketball shorts and oversized tee could have been what he wore to bed, for all I know.

For dinner Hailey Bieber changed into a chic brocade minidress with a cutout detail at the neckline and racy side slits. The model and YouTuber accessorized with some gold jewelry and strappy white sandals, finishing the look with a berry-red lip. I assume Justin has just given up trying to keep up with his stylish wife, because he’s wearing an oversized hoodie over a white tank top. I’ll award him half a point for the baseball cap, which has an interesting red-and-white checked pattern. But next time I want to see some effort.
