Having just debuted on the Mr Porter platform following the launch of 66°North’s mainline collection, the four-piece capsule includes two outerwear styles and two accessories.

Within the two outerwear styles is 66°North’s Dyngja puffer jacket — originally produced in 2005 and one of its most popular styles. The accompanying vest is available in an allover print inspired by the colours of ‘Skófir’ moss.

The print was developed from photographs taken on a research trip the design team took in Iceland while exploring the country’s landscapes.

66°North said each Dyngja AOP style is unique, as the pattern falls differently on each piece, “creating a totally individual product each time”.

The outer layer of the jacket is made from recycled polyester and insulated with a blend of goose and duck white recycled down, reclaimed from used clothing and bedding.

Kei Toyoshima, Creative Director for 66°North, said: “Inspired by the moss-covered stretches of Iceland, we crafted a garment merging nature with its people.”

To round off the capsule, 66°North’s core backpack and belt-bag styles have been reimagined in an exclusive ‘Glacial Clay’ colourway, drawing inspiration from the glaciers that dominate the landscape in many parts of Iceland.

Made using a leftover PU rainproof material from past-season bags, the styles reference the brand’s fisherman heritage with reflective details and coated waterproof fabric.

The collection has launched exclusively on Mr Porter and is priced £55-£435.
