Cast your mind back to the cover of British Vogue’s June 2022 issue, which featured a radiant Gisele Bündchen. The image read: goddess energy. The Brazilian supermodel embodied the same spirit at a recent event in Sāo Paulo, swathed in a gold lamé gown by local designer Reinaldo Lourenço.
Gisele—the model long ago reached mononym status—accessorized the dress with metallic heels, a matching clutch, a statement necklace, and drop earrings. The best accompaniment to her golden look, however, was her megawatt smile and radiant complexion, which she elevated with pared-back makeup and a simple ponytail.
The secret behind her perennial glow? She feels better in [her] 40s than she did in her 20s, as she said in her —and it shows. “Not just physically,” she said, “because we’re all told that life is over at 40, and I feel like I’m just beginning.”
