Scotch & Soda links with Bos Group as its new footwear licensee
Scotch & Soda has awarded its footwear licensing deal to Bos Group International (BGI). It will design, produce and distribute the brand’s footwear collections for men, women and kids via a worldwide agreement.
BGI takes over as of this month so it will execute wholesale deliveries for Scotch & Soda’s SS23 collections and carry on the development and sell-in for AW23. It will then develop and distribute the footwear collections for the SS and AW seasons each contract year.
In its announcement of the deal, the Dutch fashion brand said its new licensee “will continue to infuse the Scotch & Soda brand DNA into the collections, reflecting the company’s core identity, inspired by the free spirit of Amsterdam. In line with Scotch & Soda’s identity, the footwear lines feature signature details that offer a sense of freedom and playfulness through unexpected details and colours with distinctive designs, targeting both the classic dresser and the trend-trier.”
The company’s footwear collections are available in its own stores, are shipped to over 70 countries via the brand’s website, as well as in premium fashion and footwear accounts.
Core markets for the category include the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Austria, while it said Australia and South Africa are among the best-performing countries outside of Europe.
