Fursac’s Elina Kousourna is new CEO of Maje

She’ll stay a member of SMCP’s Executive Committee and “will keep supporting Fursac teams, until the arrival of a new CEO for the brand”.

As mentioned, she’s headed Fursac for several years along with Creative Director Gauthier Borsarello and “has accelerated its growth in France and Europe by following an ambitious strategy and a clear roadmap around collections that celebrate its tailoring know-how while opening up to more casual styles”.
Before joining Fursac in 2019, Elina spent four years as Head of Strategy and Development at SMCP, having been involved in its IPO on Euronext Paris in 2017 and helping accelerate its international development.
She’d previously been at Boston Consulting GroupL’Oréal in Greece.
The appointment follows a management change at Maje earlier this year. Charlotte Tasset Ferrec, who became general manager in January 2022, was reported to have left the company last month. She’d taken over after Isabelle Guichot was promoted from Maje to her current group-wide role.
