Scotch & Soda launches capsule collection and bikes offer with Veloretti
Dutch fashion brand Scotch & Soda is making the most of surging consumer interest in cycling and has teamed up with fellow Amsterdam-based bike company Veloretti for the launch in Europe of a collection of electric and city bikes.
It’s “in celebration of Amsterdam Proof”, which is its seasonal unisex rainwear capsule collection, “designed to brave the elements in style, no matter the circumstances”.
Veloretti has created a range of six bikes for the collaboration that launched this week in up to 26 European countries. Designed in Amsterdam and manufactured in Europe, the bikes are conceived for a daily city commute, combining a clean design with frames made from solid aluminium, dusted off with a durable powder-coated finish, and displaying the Veloretti and Scotch & Soda logos.
Design features on the various models link in to the brand’s fashion offer. For instance, they include a limited-edition camouflage-inspired design, in a mix of Dutch green, butterscotch, cedar brown and midnight black, echoing the colour palette of the Amsterdam Proof capsule collection.
The capsule collection itself features a range of unisex pieces for adults and kids, including an oversized jacket with matching trousers, poncho, bucket hat, body warmer and organic cotton hoodie. The pieces come in a practical colour palette of khaki, olive green, rust brown and off-white.
The bikes are available to order until November online and in person in Veloretti’s Amsterdam flagship store.
