Superga names Emily Ratajkowski global ambassador
Footwear brand Superga
The capsule collection introduces the brand’s most iconic footwear styles with a design twist by Ratajkowski. In particular, she chose Superga 2750, a style that was conceived as the first Italian tennis shoe over 100 years ago by the owner of the brand, as well as the Alpina, known for trekking back in the 50s, to customize.
Other styles rounding-out the collection includes the 2750 Emrata sneaker, the Training 9TS sneaker, the 2631 Stripe Platform, the 2490 Bold Organic Canvas, and the 2790 Cotw. The model tweaked the styles to have the bindings in an off-white color and rounded the laces, among other design features.
“I love Superga and their timeless approach to sneakers. I’ve been wearing the brand for years, so this collaboration felt completely natural to me,” said Ratajkowski.
The collection is accompanied by a campaign shot in Los Angeles by Photographer Zoey Grossman. New York-based stylist, Emma Morrison, dressed Ratajkowski in clothing that provides easy movement and showcases effortless silhouettes, materials, and textures in a series of looks that reflect her role as a new mom.
