Zaya Wade is our newest nepo-baby model! The 15-year-old daughter of former NBA player Dwyane Wade walked the Miu Miu show at Paris Fashion Week on Tuesday, March 7, and, in doing so, proved she deserves the gig. Zaya’s mother is Dwyane’s ex-wife Siohvaughn Funches-Wade, and actor Gabrielle Union is her stepmother.
Zaya’s look was a brown-green mini sweater dress paired with a matching knit jacket. Her hair was styled in a low ponytail and with minimal makeup. She was accessorized with brown pointed-toe kitten heels and a brown handbag.
Union and Wade sat front row at the show, coordinating in all black and wearing sunglasses. They also shared a joint Instagram post (cute) that included a video of Zaya walking with the caption “She’s arrived.”

In his Instagram Stories, Wade shared several photos and vids from the show, including one clip of Zaya on the runway with the caption “I’m not crying, you are.”
Thomas Christos, stylist for the Wades, also expressed his support for Zaya on Instagram. Like his clients, he shared a carousel of videos and photos from the Miu Miu show, including some photos of her proud parents. “Tears in my eyes as i watched @zayawade make her debut at @miumiu today,” he wrote in the post. “Thank you @dwyanewade for your endless trust in my vision. And thank you @zayawade for showing me what it means to believe in yourself.”
