ASOS hires big-hitter Kennedy as non-exec as it prepares Main Market shares move
ASOS has hired big-hitter Patrick Kennedy to its board of directors as the AIM-listed UK online fashion giant pushes to join London Stock Exchange’s Main Market.
In a 30-year career in business, Kennedy has held a range of senior roles, latterly as chairman of Bank of Ireland Group and former chief executive of Paddy Power.

He replaces Ian Dyson as the senior independent non-executive director and audit committee chair with immediate effect. It follows Dyson’s appointment as non-executive chair of the board on 29 November 2021.
He joins when ASOS is applying to move up to the London Stock Exchange’s Main Market by end of February.
The move up will be an important one for the digital giant. The Main Market is home to the biggest, well-established businesses and the company said its directors believe that given its “size and scale, now is the appropriate time to move from AIM to a premium Main Market listing”.
So attracting the calibre of Kennedy to its operations is important with his high-profile business background going a long way to furthering its corporate profile and wider ambitions.
