Lifestyle brand Gramicci to open first global store in Covent Garden’s Seven Dials
International lifestyle clothing brand Gramicci is to make its global bricks & mortar debut in the Shaftesbury Capital-operated Seven Dials
The Earlham Street store will measure 1,400 sq ft when it debuts in May, delivering the brand’s range of “functional outdoor fashion”.
Designed with movement in mind, Gramicci’s apparel range “is steeped in the brand’s climbing heritage, providing minimalist, hard-wearing and functional outerwear”.
This includes the brand’s evolving signature items (such as its original ‘G-Pants’), which now comprise “new shapes, progressive technical fabrics and brand collaborations”.
The debut store will house its full range of lifestyle clothing, including men’s, women’s, and kidswear collections, together with a comprehensive selection of outerwear accessories.
Collaborative brands include Wacko Maria and Adsum for SS23. Exclusive store drops will also be on offer throughout the season.
Brand Manager Stevie Gildea said: “[We have] come a long way since [our] inception in a California garage 40 years ago, and being able to announce our first global store is a landmark occasion for us.
“We pride ourselves on our commitment to innovation and pushing new ideas, and thus selecting a forward-thinking destination like Covent Garden was an easy decision to make.”
Gramicci joins heritage hat brand Stetson in opening debut UK stores within Seven Dials, sitting alongside fellow, international fashion and accessories brands Rains, Colorful Standard and Away.
