Michael B. Jordan and Lori Harvey have always been super open about their relationship, posting pictures and videos from their dreamy dates and leaving each other flirty comments on Instagram. That’s why it’s almost hard to believe that on Sunday, March 27, they made their red carpet debut as a couple.
And the pair didn’t step out on just any red carpet. The model and the actor attended Vanity Fair’s famous Oscars after-party together in Beverly Hills. For the occasion, Jordan wore a satin black suit by Tom Ford that reflected the camera’s flash, and Harvey chose a Tony Ward Couture gown with a structured, jewel-covered bodice and a sheer skirt.
Harvey posted a short video of the two of them being lovey-dovey inside the party to her Instagram Stories. She captioned it “mine” with a white heart, definitely the emoji of the moment.
The pair were first spotted together in November 2020 and have been going strong since. In April 2021, the Creed actor said he wanted to be honest about his relationship, while still protecting their privacy. “I’m still private, and I want to protect that, but it just felt like it was a moment of just wanting to put it out there and move on,” he told People. “I am extremely happy.”
He continued, “I think when you get older, you feel more comfortable about the [public nature] of the business that we’re in. So, for me, it was a moment to, I guess, take ownership of that and then get back to work.”
Lori Harvey’s famous father, Family Feud host Steve Harvey seems less gung ho about their relationship becoming more serious. During an appearance on on March 4, the comedian was asked how he’d feel about the pair tying the knot. “Man, this is a hard one. I’ve given away two daughters. I’ve got four. That’s a really hard one. I would have to say so far—yeah, yeah. No, no, no, man,” he responded.
But Steve, look at her smile!
