You know that TikTok trend? The one where people film mundane moments in their life in the style of a Wes Anderson film? Well, Sydney Sweeney Could absolutely pull off one of those videos in her latest look.
The Euphoria actor stepped out on May 31 in a pastel skirt suit that might as well be a promotional poster for Anderson’s latest, Asteroid City. (To be clear, she’s not in the film.) The white-striped miniskirt is a Thom Browne creation that Sweeney paired with a matching collared shirt and blazer. The white accents of her tie, shirt cuffs, and ankle socks add softness to her contrasting black heels and clutch.
The movie in question is an upcoming rom-com first announced in January. Anyone but You is led by Sweeney and Top Gun actor Glenn Powell. The cast was hard at work filming in Australia over the last few months, and posted some behind-the-scenes pics to give fans a taste of what’s to come. Sweeney’s chemistry with Powell is natural, which some people found suspicious (which is weird because she’s…an actor—like, she acts for a living?).
