It’s as if Anne Hathaway heard that Gen Z was done with skinny jeans and has been searching for the widest, baggiest pairs she could find ever since.
On October 6 the 40-year-old actor continued to make the case for herself as one of the most fashionable millennials in Hollywood when she stepped out in a pair of gray ultra-wide-leg jeans, a simple white T-shirt, and a classic leather jacket. And while red may be the hottest color of the season, silver has taken over the footwear game at least partially thanks to Beyoncé’s Renaissance. Clearly keeping this in mind, Hathaway completed her look with a pair of silver pointed-toe boots, though they are largely covered by her baggy pants.
Of course, just because Hathaway wasn’t born between 1997 and 2012 doesn’t mean she can’t join in on “dopamine dressing,” as the actor has described it. Speaking further of her style renaissance, she told Vogue, “Before I was really afraid of things, of pulling up short. I’d rather enjoy whatever it is I do have on, even if I’m not wearing precisely the right thing.”
