Kate Middleton was at her polished best in a chic oversized spring blazer and classic black trousers for an official engagement at a charity on Monday, April 24.
The Princess of Wales, 41, opted for the double-breasted blazer and cigarette trousers as a fuss-free outfit for a visit to The Baby Bank, an organization that provides families in need with essentials like diapers, strollers, and school uniforms. The charity focuses its efforts on Windsor, Maidenhead, Slough, Berkshire, and Buckinghamshire—all areas that are close to where Kate grew up and to her and Prince William’s current family home of Adelaide Cottage, in Windsor Home Park. During the visit, the princess chatted to volunteers as she helped to organize and pack donations.
It comes after the Prince and Princess of Wales celebrated the fifth birthday of their youngest son, Prince Louis. Kensington Palace released two delightful new photographs to mark Louis’s birthday on April 23, including one of the princess pushing her son in a wheelbarrow. The photographs were taken in Windsor by Millie Pilkington, who took the Prince and Princess of Wales’s private wedding pictures.

The birthday photos were not taken by Kate Middleton, breaking the recent Wales family tradition.
In the first photograph, Prince Louis is seen smiling in a wheelbarrow being pushed by his mother, the Princess of Wales. The birthday boy is dressed in a pair of blue shorts, a shirt and a Fair Isle knit jumper, while Kate Middleton wears a Breton striped top. The second photo, also captured outside in a garden, is a close-up photo of young Louis smiling and looking off camera.
The Baby Bank visit is expected to be one of the final royal engagements for the Princess of Wales ahead of the Coronation of King Charles III and the Queen Consort on Saturday, May 6. The Prince and Princess of Wales will be joined by their three children, Prince George, nine, Princess Charlotte, seven, and Prince Louis, five, at the historic Westminster Abbey service.

It’s all much more formal than it sounds.
Prince George has been given an important role as one of his grandfather’s four Pages of Honor. Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis do not have official roles but will join their older brother and parents in a carriage procession back to Buckingham Palace following the coronation. They are also expected to appear on the balcony alongside King Charles and Queen Camilla in a celebratory moment.
